Husband came back with a similar sort of thing.He was hospitalised for tests,not related, and given a very strong antibiotic.Mentioned to Specialist that it had seemed to help with the stomach virus.Took another course and was fine.When we came home this time he was also ill and got another course of same and was fine in a few days.The antibiotic was Ciproxin 500.Not sure if this is any help but who knows.
