same thing...Apparently my credit card got into fraudulent hands in Indonesia, so the Commonwealth cancelled my credit card before they were able to go through with it. They could not name who or where, but said that they had the place where it was used listed on their blacklist of frauds.
I have recieved my new credit card from the Commonwealth and it has a gold chip in it which is meant to provide greater security because it's more difficult to fraudulently copy the details of your card. The card is embedded with a microchip and it contains security data and software that ensures every transaction you make is extensively authenticated. The chip does not store any of your personal information.
Hopefully this will also deter the frauds for some time.
