think you have hit the nail on the head - I tend to avoid eating western food in asia because I miss the accompanying wine I would normally have back home, An icy bintang goes sooooo well with fish and spicy food.
I agree about jimbaran - the best seafood we found were in the beachside cafes south of the sanur beach hotel. Can't wait to have the tuna wrapped in banana leaf again
