We'd left it that long between trips too and finally went back again last September. Hawkers are not so much in your face now. Prices have gone up but then again so has everything else incl. the AUD. More resorts and restaurants, more shopping centre complexes and designer stores. But the best thing is that the Balinese and their culture haven't changed and nor have the fabulous sights and smells. We love Bali and are going back this June. Enjoy your holiday. Cheers. Lisa
