I used Air Asia last year a few times. They had/have a 15 kg limit (which is part of your ticket cost), but if you exceed that I think the charge was around $7 per kg. I could have paid extra when purchasing my ticket to have up to 45 kgs in baggage.

Can't help with the Air Asia terminal in KL, but can confirm that the train is the best way to get into the city. Its easy to use, clean, cheap and fast.
