Have recently returned from the Dynasty and it was great! Access is via 2 entrances, the main and the side. The left wing is getting refurbed nicely with plenty of room for the markets which are lovely. I'm not sure how you could hit by construction debris? The construction was very subtle and wasnt aware of any noise from the construction. I can honestly say that the construction made no difference to our wonderful experience. Obviously more was going on when you there last year, although those areas were the ones getting worked on. As for the rooms, maybe not 5 star, but certainly very clean, with friendly and courteous staff who dilligently went about their jobs with a big smile on their face to make our stay a memorable one.
Shows that different people see things through different eyes. Each to their own, but I would highly recommend it. Cant refurb a hotel without some construction going on, and we were not disturbed in any way - unlike the discovery Kartika down the road who unfortunately had heavy machines doing beachwork at 5.00am right next to the hotel.
I imagine this work would be finished by now.
