Remember you are going through that hellhole Sydney airport.
What you can expect: Fly in. Then have to collect your luggage. Catch a taxi or train to the international terminal. Start again from scratch. Check-in. Check your luggage. Get your boarding pass. Make your way to the gate. And make sure that you allow hours and hours for this process!! Sydney airport is the WORST. I got stuck there for 8 hours last October transferring from international flights to domestic connections. Missed my connecting flight even though I arrived with hours to spare... In the future avoid this place like the plague!! Watch the Nazi's at the carry-on luggage x-ray machines too.
Oh.. and don't forget that you have already paid that extra "noise" tax to subdue the di**heads who bought a house near the airport and then complained about the noise!
