my husband rides a motorbike here in Perth and believe it or not, feels safer riding in Bali on a motorbike then in his own country - car drivers here are all self. They seem to have an order of doing things, their numerous beeping means on thing or another. We dont even think twice about hiring a car or bike whe in Bali...
