just a comment..we have employed a lot of young guys over the years in our business..many have had trips to Bali as part of their work. Most of these young people are around the 16 to 18 year old mark...mostly just decent kids who live at home with parents and have been thrust into a weird world that has different values than were in vogue when we were young.
i have to say that most of these 'kids' and they are that, are very naiive and i have little doubt that if someone offered them a free trip and a large amount of money, most wouldnt even think about the ramifications..they dont think..they would jump at it..sad but a true indication of what a lot of young aussies are like today..only think of today.
that doesnt mean they are bad kids..they make mistakes just like we all did when we were young, the trouble being today that the kids are worldly..they have the internet, they have all this technology and they grow up so fast...but they are not worldwise!
most of the kids we see are not leaders..they are followers..they dont want o be different and be laughed at.
i am not making excuses for these kids, but i agree with a few of the posters...should making one mistake because you are young and stupid be reason to lose your life?
it could be your son or daughter that makes a stupid mistake like many of these people do, and believe me, we just see so many of these young people who think they know it all and nothing will ever happen to them.
doing the same thing at home is a lark albeit a serious one with serious repercussions, but many of our young people are immature and just do not think anything bad can happen to them.
cheers
