My husband picked up the bill for 8 of us on my birthday last week at Ultimo in Seminyak. We had shared entrees and one of us had soup, followed by main courses. No desserts were ordered (it was my birthday and my hubby had organised a cake!) but everyone had coffee. The boys drank beer during the evening and the ladies shared a couple of bottles of Australian wine.
I checked my credit card statement on line this morning and the total cost including the Bank conversion fee was Aust$162.
I would have had much much more to drink if I'd known it would be so cheap!!
