have slighty different charges. They may vary only a bit or dramatically - can I suggest you contact which ever bank you deal with & get 1st hand info.

In fact I think it is always a good idea to let your bank know you are going OS,just in case their is a chance you end up using your credit card.If you don't let them know they may put a stop on it without you knowing - hoping to protect you from fraudlent charges - when in fact it was you using your own card OS.

We have recently return from OS,we notified the bank we were leaving on a particular day & how long we would be gone for( but we didn't say what time we were flying out). They were so spot on in checking things. On the morning of the day we left my husband did some very major business online banking transactions & also went to our local chemist shop & bought up big.One of banks - whose card he had used for these transactions called us just as we were leaving to check that these were our own transactions because they knew we were leaving the country that day. That is brilliant service in my opinion.

They said if they had not caught us at home that they were going to either call us on our mobiles or email us - because they were concerned at the size of the transactions, since they knew we were leaving /or had left to go OS that day.
