It appears to be the luck of the draw. I have flown j* on the last 3 trips with no complaints. Did not get any extras last time as given that its a 6 and a bit hour flight from sydney didn't see the need. Last flew Garuda in Nov 05 and was dismayed at the obvious disdain for the non indo passengers (there were only 10 of us). I also prefer the alchohol having to be paid for AND expensive as then its only the rich yobbos(not that many) that get smashed and obnoxious. Having said all that ITS MY OPINION and I have relatives and friends who swear by Garuda. I will continue to happily fly j* until they p me off enough to try Garuda again. now I wait........
