I am about to spend AUD224 on the flight DPS to Darwin one way and use FF points for the flight down to ADL. Like you I am a tad nervous about it but it is a good connection! Being a FF flight I can get the down leg at no cost by using an extra 6,000 points so it is very appealing! My flight using FF points ADL to DPS via Darwin is only AUD143 so I am fairly pleased at this stage. If my nerves run out I can always get all but 5,000 of my points back on the Jetstar flight and pick up a cheapy Qantas flight when the specials for July come out, the only downside is that the earliest Q flight is about 6 a.m. which is a bit daunting!
