We are a family that travel around and this is what I take:
Plug in mozzie zappers
Mozzie candle lantern
Powerboard and adapter
Nescafe Gold coffee and couple of plastic mugs
Kettle (which we buy in Bali)
I Pod and speakers
Bathroom wipes (just in case bathroom needs a clean or someone gets sick)
Medical kit: We take Panadol, Anti vomiting medication- Maxalon, Gastrolyte, Lomotil, Antiboitic, Aqua Ear, Antibacterial ear drops, Betadine, Antibiotic cream, Steri strips, bandaids, non stick wound dressings (and a lot more as I am a nurse.)

We are surfers and I find that the more I take the less I need (bit of insaurance) However most of the medical supplies have been used to treat other travellers especially coral injuries and motor bike injuries. Some of these things can be purcased in Bali but I take most of them with me as some of the places that we travel too are quite isloated and no Apotiks. We have had a few minor complaints stiches and infections but have found that most small towns have a local clinic where you can be treated.

We are going again in June and travelling to Lombok and Sumbawa and will be taking the above as well as antimalerials (Lombok is the start of the malaria zone)
