sofitel late check out ???

We are planning to book the sofitel seminyak for 5 nights using our accor card.

WE cant organise a late checkout - they say just check with the hotel when you arrive!! A bit risky. Otherwise we have to pay another full nights accommodation to guarantee a room

Just wondered if anyone had any experience doing this or how usy the sofitel would be likely to be mid june
