I'm sure wev'e all seen the japanese who stay for 3 days and are whisked away by arranged tour to the expensive dept. store on the bypass road and not shop anywhere else. The europeans who lay on the beach all day and do nothing else . These are amongst the majority of the figures last year.
The Balinese had to adjust their target markets over the last few years and the visitors they have attracted spend less and stay less.
The figure is deceiving.
The Balinese tourism marketers are planning to market more to aussies this year, as well as the current succesful markets to attract people who spend more and stay longer.
