Hiring Mals !!!

Hi ,
We are off to Bali for 2 weeks in April and have just found out that we can't take my husbands mal on the plane as it is to long !!!!!!!!
So we were wondering if there is anybody out there has hired mals .We will be out at Lembongan 1st and then in at Legian .
What are the prices ,size and quality like ??????
He is not very impressed at the moment !!!!!
Any help would be much appreciated.
