Have not stayed at Puri Santrian but the beach area at Besakih is definately much better and you can get bungalows that interconnect, one for the parents and one for the kids, or if you stay in the hotel section the rooms are next to one another. Smaller than Puri but very friendly and staff are lovely, great location, have stayed there on all my 4 trips to Bali. Recently got a price of $390 for 7 nights with Qantas Holidays (bought airfare separately) incl. b/fast o4 $418 with late checkout - this is a stay 7 pay 5 deal for two people twin share (not each) or if you book direct with hotel best I could do was $65AUD per night per room inc. b/fast. So Qantas deal best if staying more days. Have a great holiday, Karen
