Hi LynneeD, thanks for your JBR. We are off again to Bali in March and will definately go to the Safari Park, also we sponsor a child and will be going to see her and family. I have been told that we can't take her anywhere except a local warung, with of course a member of the organisation. I respect these rules as I guess there are some unscruplous perverts around, but I was wondering what organisation you sponsor with and what are the conditions for visits, as you said that you will be taking your sponsor child to the Safari Park.
We would love to take her and her parents to places but it was explained that it often causes jealousy in the village if a family gets things that the other villagers can not. So we just enjoy a visit to the house and will be taking them all hopefully to eat at a local place.
