I took my telstra pre-paid phone and i could NOT have a sim card put in it. My phone althou it is pre-paid still would not read their sim's. The little Bali man wanted to take my phone away for a few hours at about $100,000 and unlock it so it would work. But then i wasnt sure if i let him do that, it would work when i got back home. So i just went without. I have since found out i can go to telstra and they will unlock my phone for $27.00, so i can use it in Bali. Hopefully when we go back in April it will work.
