"Help with Humidity Hair" ............

Stats: Blonde, just above shoulder length, blunt fringe, very fine (thickness), straight with psychotic kinks, cow-lick in fringe (cringe!). Hi all, going over on 1 February, last time in Bali took over the hair dryer and GHD and gave up after the 3rd day and spent the rest of my time there looking like Yahoo Serious / Einstein / Don King (you get the picture).......... so can anyone recommend a hair product that won't slick it down or turn it into a grease puddle, but will control the puff-cloud looking hair from all that humidity ?? Seriously, even my fringe had its own life ! FYI... am WAY over 18, so too old for braids (trust me!) Thanks in advance :)
