People don't read the rules all the time. People break bottles all the time so others don't benefit.
It's not like they threw them on the floor (well I assume not). Confiscated goods all go in a big bin. I assume they broke them in the bin.
I've got better things to do with my time than make up stupid stories. I just thought people might be interested as there have been lots of reports about Jetstar confiscating duty free that HAS been purchased after going through customs at Denpasar airport.
