Thank you so much for the replies - it has been very helpful as I'v been getting really stressed out about it! The term "Kencing manis" is great to know as I can explain much more easily now.
I will try having a very small amount of rice and see what happens - I love rice but after getting to the stage now where I'm not having big blood suger dips etc I'm almost frightend to try indroducing more carbs into my diet - would be really good though as I'm feeling very weak in my legs I guess due to lack of carbs and I can't exercise like I used to because of this - I guess I just need to find the ballance.
