After your comments on here I contacted the below driver and stated that 500,000rp was far too costly.
His reply was IF the petrol increases 50% by the time I want to hire him, he will charge me the 500,000rp but until then and now it will be 400,000rp.(I might add his reply is a fair one given that he'd want to cover his expences if there was a huge petrol increase), but, I think, why didn't he say that in the first place instead of trying to cut a deal of the 500,000rp(and no explanation) now.
I'm not going to bother hiring him,(plenty more fish in the sea), you may say I'm cutting off my nose to spite my face but, it's the principal my dears.
Enough now from me, this thread is getting too long winded, thanks for all your help and sensible replies. Cheers Tinggading
