Now dont go all balistic on me people but just wondering why people would expect (eg) Indians to speak English in an Indonesian country? Why should they 'make the effort'? It's like Aussies going to, ummm, Sweden and the Swedes expecting us to speak their lingo? OR worse, in this case, a Swede being in Bali and expecting Indians to speak Swedish, if you get my drift......
