Gee you were lucky to get good service on b/c. Not on all flights. Returning in mid Novembver we had to get up and request drinks as our buzzers were ignored, certainly didn't "serve any every 20 minutes". The female flight attendant had no idea what she was doing when serving the trolley food. Also agree about the lack of service in cattle class in June. The only way they would give you a drink before the trolley service was to request water. BC used to be silver service from Perth but not anymore, I believe the east still has it, even used to get a complimentary toiletries pack. No longer worth the money. I have found that the later Garuda flight has you bussed to the terminal.
