can't you just pay V.O.A in Australian Dollars for your next trip?
In my opinion it really makes no difference.
The only exception is that you get some change in rupiah (which comes in handy anyway).
On my last visit when I paid my V.O.A in Aussie Dollars they actually gave me the change also in Aussie Dollars. But every other time I have recieved change in rupiah.
I really don't see the need to have to change over money to US dollars when it is such an easy process anyway.
But of course If you have the US Dollars like you do, then you would use it. But yes I totally agree, what a rip off to charge $7.50. to split the money...It just doesn't seem worth it does it?!
