Hi we stayed there in June last year, we were in standard rooms which were nearest to the pool and requested them for that reason. My parents stayed in delux rooms which were way down the back and there were quite steep steps. In their opinion, our rooms at front were equally as nice and the only difference was a valley view. If you're like us and don't spend much time in your room, you'd be better having room near front and closer to pool. Room size was barely different. The standard rooms would easily fit another bed.
