To all the forumites who commented on my first ever JBR. It was written mainly to satisfy a couple of promises, then to give a few impressions. I believe that most discerning readers would realise that after many visits to Bali I could dispense with the 'oohs and aahs' and comment on the gritty, so I'm surprised that it has evoked a fair amount of controvery. Maybe this time my negative observations have exceeded the positive; tough. I like to tell it how it is.
What has surprised me most is the number of very sour people out there, but I guess they are just born detractors who cover their lack of writing skills with spiteful invective.
Not at all like the great majority of forumites, who have commented in a positive and helpful manner, and with a great deal of good humour. Thank you all, dan selamet senang.
