The trip from Kuta to Jakarta is very long about 27hours in all for memory including a couple of roadside stops to eat which is included in the price of your bus ticket.
Make sure you get a air con bus. first u must go by bus to Gilimanuk then the bus boards the ferry (cost included in ticket) then from Banywangi you continue till you get to Jkt. You do not see much as most of the travel is in the night and if there has been much rain then the roads are a little dangerous due 2 corrosion on the sides. Really the price for a air ticket is very little difference in price, Try Adam Air or Lion Air only 1 hour from Kuta to Jkt compared to 27 hours on bus.
I do not know of any taxi driver who can take their taxi out of Bali you may be able to get a driver with a van but I think it would be too costly compared to bus and air travel.
