Hi Guys, having read the last six months worth of forum chat and Don's entire guide to Bali[eyes wartering], I have a couple of questions....one of which I hope won't insult Wally!
I understand the things the children most enjoy and I have started purchasing these things for my upcoming visit, but staying in Kuta, would the same children be receiving the same gifts from visitors and should I be trying to distribute these gifts further afield?
If this is the case, where do I go?
I went to Carry For Kids last visit.It was a great experience and I believe wherever the gifts go would be appreciated.
I'm bringing two Bali virgins...as Don would say, this year and I'd like them to understand the place is not all about a bargain but about giving back to these beautiful people. If they could experience that first hand I think it would be a great memory.
I am quite happy to give gifts to the local Kuta store holders if readers believe this is o.k.
My second question....Beware Wally, of accomodation advice, I stayed at The White Rose in 2006, no problems..but from memory there was an old wing and a new wing. Was happy with it two years ago but honesly don't know if it was old or new area we stayed in. Staying there again in march and would appreciate accomodation advice if anybody has some.
Finally, four of us will be in Kuta from the 20th to the 27th of March so, if there is anyone in the area at the time let us know.
