We agree with you totally. We have stayed in Sanur every year for the past 5 years running and love it.
The beach pathway is excellent to walk along first thing in the morning and late at night. We often have dinner along the beach at maybe Bonsai Cafe and then walk back to the hotel along the beach. Absolutely fantastic to stop at the many little warungs along the way for a bintang and a cocktail or two.
