our kids are 4 & 6 and have been 6 times and we are going again in August, stayed in Kids Suite in dynasty and it was dark and tiny...basically a superior room with gyprok wall to create barrier..wall does not go to ceiling so noise from tv (or anything else?!) can be heard by kids..i found the kids bunks room tiny tiny tiny..so we upgraded to executive suite and would only stay in one of these but they are pricey!. The hotel is upgrading rooms at front of hotel overlooking entrance and pond, they are superior family rooms with dividing sliding door, they will be ready in april 08 and the layout of these will be great, only thing is they are not overlooking pool..(doesnt bother me).. We also have stayed at Bali rani with interconnecting rooms and in junior suite, no kids club, but lovely little hotel, i dont leave kids with anyone unless i go shopping and hubby stays in room vice versa...We have stayed at Febris in interconnecting rooms - rooms are very new and great price, people say there is no shade around the pool, there is with frangipani trees etc...just no grass, nice kids pool, menu, spa etc..The Patra deluxe suites are great and big with 2 room set up, lounge converts to bed, has little dining table & buffet with fridge, 2 balconies (upstairs), pool is huge and resort just beautiful, a little out of the way( secluded) but didnt bother us, was a quick walk along beach to beach to shops etc or catch cab, free hotel shuttle or car to shops...not far at all, we liked the resort for privacy and large grounds adn looking at beach.....checked out kids club facilities was ok, very large with little pool - the set up of the dynasty is better with pool etc sun shades slide..but there was talk last year of a family that had come back to the hotel to find their child young) by the adult pool by themself...and another family came back from shopping and child was missing...staff were not to be found and child had ended up locking themself in the kids club watching tv (this can happen in any hotel..also a few years ago a little girl (2yrs) caught syphillis (?), from babysitter? this was on news in perth...I would never forgive myself if something happened to my kids in bali or even here at home, i dont leave them here in aus in kids clubs etc so why in a foreign country? each to thier own...When in aus we get family to babysit so we can go out...
