Your daughter won't have any drama's finding Chuck Taylor's over there. I would hit the sports shops in the main shopping centres. Some are really cheap, much cheaper than over here. I'm a fan of sneakers, especially Chuck Taylors and Pumas. I bought 3 pairs of Pumas over there, all genuine and all around $20 a pair. They'd retail for over $60 in OZ. I had trouble with sizes, your 12 year old won't.
