Ubud Village Hotel question

Have booked 3 nights, get 4.

Has anyone stayed here? and or the Ubud Village Resort?
or both and can you upgrade from the hotel to the resort as they seem to be owned by the same people/companY? with out much bother??

Also, the hotel was recommended to us! any thougths on these places?
