You may have no alternative but to buy an esky if there is no fridge available to you, as you will obviously want cold drinks available in your room. Although I'd imagine you would have to be re-stocking your ice frequently which would be a pain. If you do buy an esky in Bali (perhaps from Ace hardware, as they have a big range of esky's) I'm sure that a local in Bali would really appreciate it when you finish with it, as you most likely wouldn't want to lug it home on the plane.
