Thanks to everyone who replied especially with restaurant suggestions.
I've stayed at the Sofitel, Kartika Plaza, Grand Mirage, Aston, Hilton (now Ayoda) Sheraton, Melia, Ritz Carlton, Inter Continental, Dynasty, Grand Bali Beach, Sanur Beach Hotel, Ramada (in Tanjung Benoa) Jayakarta and a couple others in my backpacking days and still looking for the perfect beach hotel.
Does anyone know how long it would take to walk to Kori's Restuarant and Kuta Square? (Wow, question mark is working today...makes me believe that my computer does have a life of its own!)
