Nyepi Day - Can do nothing

You can not leave your hotel for the entire day.

Shops are closed, restaurants are closed, nothing is open.

Some shops tend to close a couple of days prior while people head back to their villages.

There is a big prosession the night before where the villages compete against each other and head to the beach.

There are ceremonies that happen along the beach in the lead up.

Traffic becomes chaotic
