Sanglah gets bomb threat
DENPASAR: As Denpasar made preparations for New Year's eve, Sanglah hospital received a bomb threat Monday.
The threat was received by several hospital phone operators at around 11:30 a.m., in the hospital clinic, pharmacy and emergency unit, according to beritabali.com.
"The caller was a man. He threatened to detonate a bomb at the hospital," a worker at the hospital's emergency unit said.
The police were questioning several witnesses, including the hospital's phone operators. The police bomb squad, deployed to search for and deactivate the bomb, had announced it was a hoax. --
