It's really hard for those of us here in Australia to get real news about what is actually happening in Bali - or anywhere in Indonesia for that matter. Even when you're there unless you can understand & read Bahasa Indonesia it's mostly a sanitised version of reality.
Plenty of good news stories are posted (in fact just about only good news). Bali & the rest of Indonesia isn't Nirvana - bad things do happen & I for one like to be informed of whatever is going on.
