My wife Kerri and I are going back to Bali again soon for the fifth time after an absence of almost two years to re-meet some of our very special Balinese friends who we always treated well with beach parties for everyone, presents for all the children and restuarant dinners with some of their families. I also liked to 'tip' my friends well at the end of the day.
Could some of the good Forum folk please enlighten me as to what is currently considered a respectable tip for excellent pool and bar service (at the end of a thirsty day)and for driving tours or excursions, but even more particularly what would be considered as a decent monetary Christmas gift for a nice family with either one or two young children.
Your advise would be well apreciated.
