a Balinese friend to Australia for a holiday. As you are the ones who have paid airfare and all costs, do you consider that you "own" this person during their time in Australia or are they allowed to also catch up with other friends they have met over the years? Would you be resentful if they wanted to spend a day or even an hour with someone else after you have spent all the money?
