Over staying your Visa..??

Hi,
Has anyone had the problem of over staying their 30 day visa due to a flight delay.? if so how was this problem solved.? there has been a few flight delays lately & as we try & stretch it out has close as possiable to the 30 days we just don't want to get caught.
