Gotta agree its not a tourist city at all :) And your descriptions are pretty much on the mark :)
However where is and whats the name of the chinese resto u visited? My fiancee and I today, we just talking over lunch and said we need to find a new resto to eat at :)
With its pluses and minuses I still love living in Jakarta after nearly 10 years here :)
