August, for sure. Temperature just right, really pleasant evenings, and because it's the coolest month of the year the Balinese do their best to schedule certain ceremonies in August, especially cremations. I must add that I do not stay in the Kuta-Sanur-Jimbaran axis, but up in the hills near Ubud.
