I first went to Bali in 1974. I went with a school excursion for art.
Pacto were our tour guides. Interestingly enough, I encountered Pacto again a couple of weeks ago when I was touring through Jatiluwih. It really evoked memories.

Gosh, in those times buying a balinese hat (you know made of cane (?) and conical in shape) was a big thing along with purchasing a sarong. Gudung Garam were the cool things to smoke...only to a teenager!!!
