and although i do have others, i must admit this one was the least painful i had ever had. tattoos are a strange pain, i would describe as more as a concentrated burning sensation rather than pain. do not worry so much about the pain as it is not as bad as what you may be thinking, it is definitely bearable. if you are having a small tattoo done this will only take about 30mins. my tattoo ended up taking around three hours and i must admit i was glad when it was over but that was more the positions and to keep twisting my arm in for him to tattoo. i would steer away form the emla cream it has an effect on skin which a lot of tatooist do not like, and the last thing you want is to start the tat and them stop and tell you to come back when the cream has worn off
