I have stayed at the Griya Santrian numberous times and will be back there again late October. It is right on the beach, has 2 pools, one in the gardens and the other by the beach. The beach pool has a childrens pool and a pool bar. The restaurant is also next to this. The restaurant does a great seafood dinner on the beach on a Monday night with a terrific local band. In fact the restaurant has music every night, the good is great as is the buffet breakfast. The hotel also has a grassed area behind the pool. The website will give you an idea of the rooms. The garden wing rooms do not have TV. Some of the beach wing rooms have just been completely renovated so should be stunning. The wing opposite these rooms seem to be popular with families as they are near the pool, beach & restaurant. I must admit I am biased as this is my favourite hotel. Hardys supermarket is within walking distance as are the markets and restaurants. I have looked over other hotels in the area but still come back to the Griya. Cheers, Stormy
