the email saying your application was successful and here's your password. I believe you actually need to fly with them, quoting your membership number when you book, and your account is then activated.
Our account was activated after we flew to Bali in May. It took about 6 weeks (and a couple of emails) after we got home again to actually receive our membership cards and information pack.
