Just researching on the web on this... lots of different messages (and prices due to TA cuts?). This was on the Virtual Travel forum (link below) from the end of June 07:
"Just an update on flights between Bali and Lombok, I have just bought a ticket at the airport for next Wednesday, all of them still hat plenty of seats available, prices and frequency might be different from day to day:
-Trans Nusa/Trigana Air: 2 flights daily, with ATR 42-300, IDR 233'000
-Indonesia Air Transport: 2 flights daily, with F27-500, IDR 285'000
-Merpati: 3 flights daily, with F27, IDR 365'000
They all have counters at the domestic terminal in both airports. They all use old planes, probably those from Trans Nusa/Trigana Air are the latest of these, also they get the advantage of the cheapest price. On the other hand Merpati has the advantage with the most experienced pilots."
Hope that helps - and that I haven't broke any rules by linking to another forum ;-)
